COVID-19 - Final Year Nursing Paid-Placement Monitoring

This is the Health Education England ‘COVID-19 Final Year Nursing Paid-Placement Monitoring (2021)’ data collection for recording information related to final year undergraduate nursing students undertaking paid-placements to support the NHS’ Covid response (as per the NMC’s Emergency Education Standards 2021).

Through this collection, HEE is collecting essential data related to:

The number of third year nursing students undertaking a paid-placement;
The organisation where students are working;
Placement start and end dates.

This data will enable HEE to report paid-placement activity and inform how it can best support education providers to maintain educational progression.
